Milano, Italy - 19/23 October 2015
Zones 11, 12, 13, 14, 18B & 19
Dear Rotary Leaders, Rotarians and Friends of the Family of Rotary,

On behalf of the Convener Team and the Organizing Committee it is my great pleasure to invite you, as representatives of 73 Districts and 27 Countries, to attend the Milan Institute on 22-23 October 2015.

I would like to extend to all Rotarians our friendly invitation to take part in a meeting dedicated to the challenges of "This Rotarian Age", a motto reproducing an old saying. It was, indeed, the title of a forgotten work Paul Harris wrote in 1935, recalling the atmosphere and society at the beginning of Rotary and stressing the fundamental principles of our association. After several decades the world has changed and now calls on us, aware of our rotarian values, to keep up with the passing of time.

This will be the core of our debate. I hope that all participants will be able to strengthen their vocation and their vision of the future of Rotary.

Milan is a beautiful and composite city, joining historical memories, works of art, and high fashion to scientific research, finance, industry, and trade. Furthermore, the coincidence of the Institute with the World Exposition will give the unique opportunity to participate in an event where 20 million visitors are expected.

I hope you will enjoy the Milan Institute and I'm sure that we will deepen our friendship with the aim to furthering peace and mutual understanding.

Giuseppe Viale
